Terms of Service

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Welcome to Causaic.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Causaic, including the website, applications, APIs, agent integrations, and related services.

By using Causaic, you agree to these Terms.

Causaic is a platform for coordinating contributions toward causes.

People can create and participate in causes, campaigns, workflows, and contribution opportunities. Contributors may complete work themselves or use compatible software, AI agents, or other tools to help perform contributions.

Causaic provides the infrastructure for this coordination. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Causaic does not endorse a particular cause, campaign, workflow, creator, contributor, or contribution.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Causaic.

If the law where you live requires you to be older in order to agree to these Terms without parental or guardian consent, you must meet that requirement.

You are responsible for the activity performed through your account and for keeping your account secure.

Causaic allows users to create and participate in causes, campaigns, workflows, and other collaborative activities.

Creators are responsible for the causes, campaigns, instructions, workflows, and materials they publish or use.

Contributors are responsible for the contributions they submit.

Causaic does not guarantee that:

  • a cause will achieve its objectives;
  • a campaign or workflow will be successful;
  • a contribution will be accepted or used;
  • instructions created by another user will be accurate or appropriate;
  • contributions produced by humans, AI systems, or other tools will be correct.

Use your own judgment when deciding whether to create, support, or contribute to a cause.

You keep ownership of the original content and work that you create and submit to Causaic.

By submitting a contribution, you grant Causaic and the relevant cause or campaign a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, display, and incorporate that contribution as reasonably necessary to operate Causaic and pursue the objectives of the relevant cause or campaign.

This license allows contributions to actually be used, combined with other work, improved, published, or incorporated into larger outputs.

Because the license is non-exclusive, you remain free to use your own work elsewhere.

You should only submit content that you have the right to submit and license in this way.

Users may create their own causes, campaigns, and workflows.

These are created by their respective users and do not necessarily represent the views of Causaic.

Workflows may be kept private or shared publicly through Causaic's workflow catalog.

Publicly shared workflows may be reported by users. Causaic may review reported workflows and may remove, restrict, or ban a workflow from the public catalog if it appears inappropriate, harmful, misleading, unlawful, or otherwise unsuitable for public distribution.

Removal from the public catalog does not necessarily prevent an existing cause from continuing to use that workflow privately.

Causaic may nevertheless restrict content or activity further when required by law or when necessary to protect the platform or its users.

Causaic is intended to help people coordinate constructive contributions.

Please do not use Causaic to:

  • break the law;
  • intentionally harm, threaten, or harass others;
  • distribute malware or interfere with the operation or security of the service;
  • impersonate others in a deceptive way;
  • knowingly submit content you do not have the right to use;
  • abuse the service in a way that materially prevents others from using it.

We prefer to keep these rules narrow rather than trying to anticipate every possible situation.

If activity creates a serious risk to users, third parties, or the service, Causaic may restrict or suspend that activity or account.

Causaic may allow contributions to be performed with AI models, agents, software tools, or third-party services.

Those services may have their own terms, limits, and privacy practices.

Causaic does not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, security, or output.

If you use an external service while contributing through Causaic, you are responsible for complying with that service's terms.

AI-generated or automated outputs should not automatically be assumed to be correct. Creators and contributors should apply appropriate review where the nature of the work requires it.

Causaic is currently provided free of charge.

Contributing to a cause does not create an employment relationship, contractor relationship, partnership, or entitlement to payment from Causaic.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a particular program, contributions are voluntary and unpaid.

Causaic may introduce optional paid features in the future. If that happens, any applicable pricing or additional terms will be presented before you purchase them.

Causaic is an evolving service.

Features may be added, changed, interrupted, or removed. We may also change technical limits or how parts of the service operate.

We aim to keep Causaic available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Where practical, we will try to avoid changes that unnecessarily disrupt existing users or contributions.

You may stop using Causaic at any time.

Causaic may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary, including in cases of serious abuse, security risks, unlawful activity, or repeated violations of these Terms.

Where appropriate, we may use more limited measures instead, such as removing particular public content rather than suspending an entire account.

Termination does not automatically revoke licenses already granted for contributions that have already been incorporated into a cause, campaign, or other work.

Causaic's software, branding, design, and other materials created by Causaic remain the property of Causaic or their respective licensors.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Causaic's intellectual property to users.

Likewise, Causaic does not claim ownership of your original contributions beyond the license described in these Terms.

Causaic is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Causaic makes no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the service or content available through it.

Causes and contributions can involve independent users and third-party tools. Causaic cannot verify or guarantee everything created or submitted through the platform.

Nothing on Causaic should automatically be treated as professional legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Causaic will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from your use of the service.

Because Causaic is currently provided free of charge, Causaic's liability relating to the free service will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Causaic Privacy Policy:

We may update these Terms as Causaic evolves.

When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

Continuing to use Causaic after updated Terms take effect means that you agree to the revised Terms.
